Making the gifs

using watercolour pencils I drew the aspects of the recipes I needed such as ingredients and equipment needed.

then I would edit the images in photoshop before adding them to a timeline to create the animation.

I used the lines in the recipes to help me decide what actions i should give to the drawings.

for example this gif was the represent the grating of vegetables to help make a pie crust.

For making the actual animations I took the drawings into the photoshop time line and played around with how they moved on that.
